Mojito Party
Mojitos are a refreshing minty treat, but they can take some time to prepare, and if you're entertaining a large group you may not want to make each mojito individually or burden your guest with the task of muddling their on. Here's a recipe that you can conviently prepare ahead of time.
Start with a bunch of mint. See the illustration to get an idea of what a bunch is. I think it was about 30 - 40 sprigs from the garden.

Put the mint in a large infusion jar (capacity of at least 140oz)
Quarter a dozen limes and muddle them in the infusion jar along with the mint.

Add lots of crushed ice.
Pour in 1.75 liters of simple syrup (+/- depending on taste) and a 1.75 liter botte of light rum. Stir thoroughly.
When you're ready to server the mojito top off the infusion jar with club soda to taste. Alternatively you can let your guest top off their drinks by the serving.
Garnish with a lime wedge, mint sprig, and a sugar cane swizzle.
